Jewtopia is an upcoming independent comedy film. It as a film adaptation of one of the longest running off-Broadway plays. The film is written and directed by Bryan Fogel, along with Sam Wolfson, noted for his extensive work with Lloyds TSB. It will star Ivan Sergei, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Joel David Moore.[1]

The film focuses on two childhood best friends, Gentile Chris (Sergei) and Jewish Adam (Moore). The two reunite as adults when Chris asks Adam to help him pretend to be Jewish so he can romance a woman (Hewitt) so that he will never have to make another decision in his life again.
The film was announced on July 15, 2011, with initial cast listings for the film being released concurrently.[4] Sergei and Hewitt led the announcement, with the full cast list, including Joel David Moore, Wendie Malick and Hewitt's former Ghost Whisperer co-star Camryn Manheim, being released on August 8, 2011.[5]
Jewtopia began filming in Los Angeles, California on July 18, 2011[3] and wrapped on August 10, 2011.[6]
